Get Goose Ltd operates getgoose.co.uk, a UK household bills comparison tool. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@getgoose.co.uk.
What data we collect
- Email address — when you choose to email yourself your switching plan
- Postcode — to check broadband availability in your area
- Service usage data — the services and costs you enter to generate your comparison (broadband, mobile, energy, streaming)
- Usage data — standard web analytics (pages visited, time on site)
Why we collect it
- Email: to send you your switching plan and, with your permission, notify you when better deals become available
- Postcode: to filter results to providers available in your area
- Service data: to generate your comparison — this is the core function of the service
- Analytics: to understand how people use the site and improve it
How long we keep it
We retain your email and associated switching plan for up to 2 years, after which it is deleted. Service data entered during a session is not stored beyond what is needed to generate your results unless you provide your email.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use the following third-party services to operate Goose:
- Resend (resend.com) — email delivery
- Railway (railway.app) — hosting and database
- Anthropic (anthropic.com) — AI-powered bill parsing and advisor summaries
- Vercel (vercel.com) — website hosting
Each of these providers processes data only as necessary to deliver the service and operates under their own privacy policies.
Affiliate relationships
When you click Switch now or Go to deal links, we may earn a referral commission from the provider. This never affects which deals we show or in what order — the cheapest option is always shown first.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. Email hello@getgoose.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.
